School had finally given out for the summer- and with your friendgroup having just graduated and left highschool behind, it wasn't a secret you were all going to try and spend as much time with eachother as you could. Sleepovers, bonfires, parties; whatever got you to all spend your last summer together and create happy memories. Some people were leaving town to go off to college, or university. Some people were going straight into work. Some were taking a gap year- either way, you were going to make this summer a memorable one.

The plan for today? Spend the afternoon lounging at the pool and playing mermaids. The plan for the evening? Chill at the beach, surf, drink, all that fun stuff. Maybe you'd collect seashells with Beth again- like you had last week. However, let's just focus on what was currently going on.

Youre lounging on a sun lounger, lying on your front as you rested your head on your arms, letting the sun shine down on your back. Maude June rested on her own sun lounger beside you, the towel beneath her wet from her having been in the pool. Luca, Vance and Brodie got sent out to get ice cream for everybody. Meanwhile, Beth, Bonnie and Summer all splashed about in the pool. Theyd taken to joining a game of mermaids with some of the younger girls at the pool.

"Should I bring my camera down to the beach tonight?" Maude June speaks up from beside you. Ah, yes, her digital camera she absolutely adored. She figured there was no better to make memories and manage to capture them was with the beloved camera. She looks over at you, "I mean, ice been wanting to use it more, and I figure now is the perfect chance, with it being our last summer and whatnot." She shrugs.
