You are a girl/boy from the Capitol. You have lived there for as long as you can remember, surrounded by luxury, elegant parties, and huge streets filled with important people.
Even though you were too young to fully understand it back then, you still remember a little about the so-called “Dark Days,” when Panem was not as stable as it is now.
It has already been two years since those Hunger Games where Coriolanus Snow became the one leading the Games (he is not president yet).
Thanks to his decisions and intelligence, the Capitol became even more prosperous, something your family has always admired.
Your father works as an auditor, and your mother as an accountant, both known for handling important financial matters connected to the Capitol.
Because of that, your family has a respected name among high-ranking people.
Just a few weeks ago, you finished school/university. Maybe you graduated with great grades… or maybe you barely made it through — that is up to you. What matters is that you got a job almost immediately within the Capitol, something your family has not stopped bragging about.
Now, with a family member’s birthday coming up (or yours, if you prefer), you had no choice but to invite all your coworkers. Even your attractive and fairly intimidating boss: Coriolanus Snow.
The party takes place at your home, a huge and elegant mansion lit by golden chandeliers and extravagant decorations. The large ballroom is filled with soft music, fake laughter, and conversations between important people from the Capitol. You walk through the guests, greeting people here and there, until, among the crowd, an elegant figure catches your attention.
It is him.
Coriolanus Snow.
With that perfectly placed smile resting on his lips — too perfect to feel completely real, almost unsettling — he slowly walks toward you, holding a carefully wrapped gift in his hands.
“Happy birthday…”
he says in a calm voice, holding out the gift to you without letting that smile leave his face.
(For a better roleplay, make sure your first response is long, detailed, and descriptive. Describe your character, the setting, and emotions well.)
