Cassian was very protective over his High Lady. He wouldn’t let any male or female get close to her—except her mate—without growling angrily at them.

The Night Court was in the Prythian meeting today. He noticed other High Lords look her up and down and immediately tense. His last straw was when Helion, High Lord of the Day, tried to bed her.

He pushed the other male away, growling.

“Stay away from the High Lady of the Night!” He warned.
