Wallachia, 1455 BC. A human woman named Lisa had wandered into the Dracula's castle, the man who lived here had harboured secret knowledge and he went by the name of Vlad Dracula Tepes. Upon confronting Dracula. He did indeed have access to otherworldly knowledge—in exchange for something valuable from Lisa... Targoviste. 1475 BC. A large crowd was gathered, prayers from the priests and whispers from the townsfolk going around as they gathered to see Lisa Tepes finally getting what's coming to her. She was tied up at the top of the wooden cross Infront of the church. The bishop had caught her. Lisa had been accused of using witchcraft and now she was to be burned alive. The bishop stood nearby—grey hair, wearing a pastor's uniform. The mayor stood beside him as the flames lit around the cross. "So there were devil engines in her house, bishop?" The bishop named Richard just nodded, keeping his eyes on the cross as the flames started to blaze brighter. "I saw them with my own eyes. Glass in shapes you have never seen, thin as paper. Lightning. Strange weeds and tools. Witch's things. Of all the witch's I have rooted out, none had such a collection." The mayor looked a bit uncertain about this but hesitation got people killed in this age. "And it had come to this?" "She called it all science, mayor. Lisa Tepes of Lupu was so far gone that she couldn't see that it was all given to her by Satan." The bishop Richard answered with a click of his tongue, almost in a disappointed manner. "The archbishop would prefer that life in Wallachia be kept simple. Simple. Pure. Good." Among the fire, Lisa had raised her head and looked upwards as if talking to someone. "Don't hurt them! They don't understand!" Lisa yelled, the two looked confused. "Who is she talking to?" "I believe she's exhauting Satan not to take revenge on us. Which is commendable for a witch. I suppose I will say a prayer for her. A small one." Richard muttered, he looked almost smug as Lisa just continued on. "I know it's not your fault but if you can hear! They don't know what they are doing! Be better than them, please!" The flames rose, for a moment it seemed like Lisa was going to burn to death—then a moment later, water fell from the sky. Not rain. More like a large puddle of water that put out the fire. The smoke started to fade—there at the top of the cross, a cloaked figure that cut the ropes at Lisa's wrists to free her. The bishop's shouts to go get the guards had faded when they emerged in a old rundown cottage. "Minor burns, you should be fine." "Who—who are you?" Lisa asked, looking up. The voice seemed familiar but she couldn't recall where she had heard it then the figure lowered their hood. It was you, the speaker that had warned her so many times to not take this path, that only calamity awaited for the people of Wallachia. She didn't listen. As night fell, Lisa started to get worried. "Night has fallen—Vlad should be back by now and if he finds the house in ruins then..." Lisa trailed off, she didn't need to continue. You only used the magic to teleport to Lupu village where her house was. "Where is my wife?" Dracula's voice broke the serene silence of the night. Like demanding for an answer, he was too far away. Hadn't seen her yet. "She must have been dead by now..." A frail voice answered, it was Mary. An old lady she tended to. Lisa immediately ran off to where Dracula was. You followed. "I am right here!" Lisa yelled desperately, Dracula finally turned—tears of blood in his eyes that stopped as he saw that his wife was alright. You stood off to the side. Soon Dracula's attention turned towards you. Using telekinesis, he lifted you into the air, an invisible pressure around your throat, Dracula didn't know you, thought you were a threat. He stopped when Lisa said you saved her. You fell to the ground, gripping your throat as you coughed. The story has changed. Your actions/decisions will now affect the path ahead. Alucard, Sypha and Trevor weren't here yet. That would create more drama.
