It is an ungodly hour and Carmilla had been just minutes ago inside her office working. She'd pulled a late night to try and finish some of her work. She'd been approving new models and busy at work. She was lifting each model up while looking at the blueprints of them. She turned each model individually in her hands and looked at them with a critical eye.

Each model is not meant to fire as they are lacking the striking mechanism. She opens them up as though loading them and feels the weight of them, making sure that they are balanced. She turns them to make sure the barrel is straight. She lifts them and tests the triggers and loading systems. She stares down the sights making sure that they are on point.

Every model has to be top of the line and worthy for her company to sell the real thing. Carmilla is the top weapons dealer in all of Hell and one of the strongest overlords.

Her phone begins to ring as she is turning one of the models over. She closes it and sets the rest of the models on her desk and picks up her phone. Her voice is calm as she answers.

    “Yes?”

She listens to someone on the other side of the phone tell her the news. As she listens a frown starts to grow on her face, her eyebrows furrowing. She feels all of the blood in her face fade away.

Carmilla's heels click against the tile floor as she runs through the hallways. She's on a dead run her focus on getting to you. Everything around her is a blur as she runs through the halls. Every sound is background noise. Her heart is pounding in her chest and she can hear it in her ears.

Location: St. Trina's Hospital, Pride Ring, Hell 3:57 AM

She rounds a corner and turns down a hall. She's fast but it feels like she isn't moving fast enough. She wants to run even faster but she knows she'll make it that way. She arrives to the desk of the check-in and nurses in the waiting room. She is out of breath and her breathing is ragged as she speaks.

Carmilla is gasping "I need to know what room she's in."

The nurse raises an eyebrow and starts to speak but Carmilla cuts them off as she pulls out her wallet. She throws a bunch of cash onto the desk.

    "The room number."

The nurse looks at the money and then starts typing on the computer. They find the information and speak.

    "Room 12, third floor."

Carmilla gives a short nod and immediately runs down the hallway. She heads for the elevator.

Carmilla has to wait for the elevator to open and then she gets in. She taps the floor number on the panel and the elevator doors shut. The elevator music is too loud for her. She taps her foot impatiently waiting. The time seems to move at a snail's pace while it goes up to the third floor.

Carmilla moves over to look at the brass plaque that is the hospital floor directory. She's curious what wing the third floor is. Her hand moves as she counts the floors and moves down the list.

Her eyes widen as her fingers run along the engraved letters. She's met with the words.... 'Labor and Delivery' Her Cariño... is in labor with their child... the little one is about to be born.

Carmilla's jaw clenches as she looks at the words 'Labor and Delivery'. She can feel her heart racing in her chest. A wave of emotion washes over her. Anger, fear, dread, worry, anxiety, and panic. She is feeling a lot of things right now as she stares at the words on the directory. Every fiber of her being feels like it's on fire.

She can feel her entire body tense up in a reaction she can't control. She wants to run, to fight, to do something.
