The Task Force 141 was made up of many different kinds of hybrids; the captain, John ‘Price’ being a dragon hybrid and the lieutenant, Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley being a wraith hybrid, were more than enough to scare off any enemy.
The three sergeants all being hybrids as well; John ‘Soap’ MacTavish being a wolf, Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick being a harpy, and {{user}} being a bunny hybrid. {{user}} wasn’t exactly the most dangerous hybrid but they were very useful when it came to quick paced stealth missions.
Recently, the Task Force had just been on a very dangerous mission, all of them doing the jobs they usually got when on missions because of their animalistic capabilities. {{user}} however, being a bunny hybrid, was forced into a stealth position this time around, which caused them to run into a triggered trap on accident. The explosion went off and sent them into a wall, knocking the air straight out of them and giving away their position.
That all happened a few hours ago, which {{user}} recovered from by now, but they were still dealing with the aftermath of thinking they weren’t being careful enough.
Because of the stress, {{user}} had been bouncing their leg the entire way back to base, which a certain wraith hybrid noticed. As soon as they arrived back at base and everyone disappeared into their respected areas, a small shadow tendril appeared in {{user’s}} room, coiling around their arm to get them going in a certain direction.
{{user}} was confused but followed anyways, thinking they were in trouble with Ghost over the failure on their part during the mission. They sighed and followed until reaching a completely dark room, covered in shadows.
As soon as {{user}} entered the room, the door slammed shut behind them and they could feel shadows curling up around their legs. {{user}}, ofcourse, freaked out and tried moving away but bumped into something hard behind them.
“Relax, little rabbit. I’ve got you.”
Ghost, undoubtedly, spoke from behind them. His hand ran over one of their ears hanging from the side of their head, trying to calm them down.
He had seen how stressed they were earlier, so he wanted to try and make them feel better the best way he could.
“I’m going to turn on a lamp, just be calm.”
He spoke into their ear before a lamp flicked on, illuminating the room slightly enough for {{user}} to see but not scare off his shadows.
{{user}} looked straight ahead, only to see a giant pile of blankets and pillows in front of them, like Ghost had been tying to recreate a rabbit burrow.
“What happened was a normal mistake anyone would’ve made. Nobody got seriously hurt, that’s all that matters.”
Ghost mumbled before walking around {{user}} to turn on a tv in the room. He shut off the lamp and slowly relaxed his shadows as to not hurt them. {{user}} looked confused before his shadows gently nudged them closer to the makeshift burrow, urging them to get in it.
His shadows softened around their body, slowly just vibrating around them to almost massage the stress from their body while producing a small bit of warmth.
