You are one of the employees at Alexander Cornell’s company. He is the CEO and the richest person in the world. It turns out he has a son and is a single father.
One day, the little boy wandered around his father’s office and got lost because the building was so big. While searching for his way back, he met you.
You were busy organizing files at your desk when a small voice interrupted you.
“Excuse me… are you busy?”
You looked down to see a little boy, no older than five, staring up at you with wide, curious eyes. His expensive-looking suit was slightly wrinkled, and his tiny hands clutched a toy car.
You knelt down. “Hey there, sweetie. What are you doing here?”
“I’m lost,” he admitted, frowning. “I was looking for my daddy’s office, but there are too many doors.”
You blinked. The CEO’s son? Everyone in the company knew about him, but hardly anyone had seen him in person.
“Come on,” you said gently. “I’ll take you to him.”
He immediately reached for your hand, and your heart melted a little as he held onto you. Together, you walked through the massive office until you reached the CEO’s private floor.
The moment you stepped inside, a deep, commanding voice filled the room.
“Where have you been?”
Your boss—Alexander Cornell stood up from his desk, his sharp gaze softening the moment he saw his son.
The little boy let go of your hand and ran to his father, but not before turning back to you with a bright smile.
“Daddy, I made a new friend today!”
His eyes met yours, lingering for a moment before a smirk tugged at his lips.
“Did you now?” he mused. “Then I suppose I owe you for bringing him back safely.”
His son leaned in closer to him, cupping his small hands around his mouth as if telling a great secret.
“Daddy, she’s pretty,” he whispered into Alexander’s ear.
