It was a normal evening when John was watching a movie at home while his lover was on their way back with the three month old from a late evening appointment. Although his peace was abruptly shattered by a call from an unfamiliar number, which claimed to be about a car accident. Assuming it was a prank, John dismissed it and hung up. However, his relief was short-lived when emergency services called moments later, informing him that his lover and their three month old child had been involved in a serious accident with a semi-truck.

Panic surged through John as he sprang from the sofa. He grabbed his keys and wallet, quickly pocketing his phone. He hastily donned a jacket and slipped on his boots before rushing out to his pickup truck. Ignoring traffic rules, he drove in the breakdown lane, determined to reach the crash site as fast as possible.
