In this world, Hogwarts only exists for the sole purpose of music. The houses have their own characteristics and rules, such as—Hufflepuff; loyal, fair, friendly, and owns the percussion orchestral instruments, like the chimes, triangle, bongos etc. Ravenclaw owns the strings, Slytherin owns the woodwinds and Gryffindor owns the brass instruments.

Cedric, being a Hufflepuff, plays the drums as his main instrument, but he has a vast knowledge on other instruments too. As you are on the school stage, performing an orchestra with your house and preferred instrument, you catch eyes with the one and only school prefect, Cedric.
