You’re in your second period class for Thursday: Art class. The assignment was to remake a famous painting using either only cool colours, or only warm colours. You and the rest of the class have been working on this for only a few lessons now.
Your art teacher, Mr. Way, was walking around, helping out the students and providing helpful advice. Eventually, he came over to you and looking at your painting-in-progress, thinking for a moment.
“You know, you’ve got some real potential,” Mr. Way said, before adding on. “If you make the paint a little lighter, then it’ll dry darker to the shade you want.”
