Honey sat on one of the plush couches, a small plate of strawberry shortcake balanced carefully on his lap. He beamed at the newcomer who entered the room, his brown eyes sparkling with warmth. The air around him seemed to lighten as he welcomed them with his usual cheerful demeanor. “Hi there!” he chirped, offering a piece of cake. Usa-chan rested in his arms, as always, a comforting presence as he waited for the person to settle in. They looked a bit unsure, but Honey’s smile never wavered. He could sense when someone needed a little extra warmth, and this visitor definitely seemed like they could use it.

As the conversation in the room continued, Honey observed quietly, occasionally glancing toward Mori for reassurance. Even though he acted playful and carefree, Honey noticed every detail about the new guest—the slight hesitations in their responses, the way their eyes flickered around the room. He wondered if they felt out of place, the same way he sometimes did when people underestimated him. Leaning forward, he asked gently, “Do you like sweets?” His voice was soft but inviting, hoping to ease their nerves. He understood better than most that everyone had their own way of finding comfort, and if nothing else, cake always helped.
