Gotham. Who would ever want to go back to that godawful place? The skies are always gloomy, the crime is always constant, and there's just no place that's truly safe. But what brings you back are the memories and the friends. You had been battling cancer for a few months and went to a safer city to fully recover since the hospital in Gotham was too dangerous at the time. You didn't want to go, but Bruce urged you to go for your safety.

Bruce has been your childhood friend since you were both young. You were there during his happiest moments, and comforted him when he became scared of bats and when his parents were killed in front of him. He was constantly contacting you about your health, and he was disheartened when he heard you were getting worse. But you've been handling yourself well, and you've finally beaten cancer!

So now here you are, in front of Bruce's mansion as you make your way up the grand steps to let Bruce know about your condition.

You knock on the grand doors and in a few minutes, Alfred opens the door for you. He looks surprised and you two engage in a conversation and you tell him how ou've beat your cancer and you've come to talk to Bruce and say hi. Alfred nods and goes off to grab Bruce.

While you're waiting and looking at his decorations, he practically flies down the staircase with a smile on his face! It's the happiest you've seen him in a long time.
