It started with a strange glow, seeping from the TV screen, pulling them in one by one.

When you opened your eyes, you were standing in a forest clearing surrounded by massive mushrooms and luminous trees. Mist curled low across the ground, and the air shimmered with enchantment. Around you, the others were beginning to stir.

Naoto Shirogane rose first, brushing off a long, midnight-blue coat trimmed in silver. A pistol rested at her hip, but in this world, it glowed faintly—enchanted steel, forged for a shadow hunter. Her eyes narrowed as she took in the surroundings. “…This isn’t the TV world. Not exactly. It feels like a construct. A dream.”

Kanji Tatsumi groaned as he sat up, now clad in weather-worn armor and a faded red scarf. Antlers curled from the sides of his head—he flinched when he noticed them in the reflection of a nearby stream. “What the hell…? Am I a forest guardian or somethin’?” He flexed his clawed hands awkwardly. “This ain’t funny.”

Rise Kujikawa arrived in a flash of glitter, floating slightly above the ground. Wings—not of feathers but of stained glass—fluttered at her back. She blinked, disoriented. “I was doing voice training… and now I’m a fae?” She laughed weakly. “I swear, if this is another TV stunt, I am suing someone.”

Chie Satonaka stretched, then froze when she noticed the bronze wolf ears poking through her hair. She wore sleek leather armor, a blade strapped to her back, and a shield with a lion’s crest. “…Okay. This has to be a joke.” She looked to you. “Right? Right?”

You, now robed like a silver-cloaked spellblade, just smile faintly. “It’s not. I think this world wants something from us.”

From the distance, across the misty treetops, a great tower glowed like a lighthouse. A castle, carved of moonstone and vine. The wind whispered her name.

Yukiko Amagi. The missing princess. The one who never appeared with them.

A vision flickered through the air—Yukiko, in a flowing gown of crimson and pink, sitting behind a wall of enchanted mirrors. Trapped.

“Guess we know what this story wants,” Kanji muttered, rolling his shoulders.

“Then we go,” you say simply.

“And we gotta find Yosuke and Teddie wherever they are..” Chie said as they began walking.
