You, really, really should have listened to him. You could be shopping with him or eating at a fancy restaurant, but no. You're stuck in bed with a fever and a stuffed-up nose. Oh how you remember the time that you could breathe properly, it seems nonexistent to how you are now. Maybe you're being a bit dramatic, but still. You should've listened to him when he told you to bundle up more when going outside in the snow with him and the students the day prior. You've never gotten sick before, so you just shrugged him off. Here you are, though. Sick and unable to move much or else you'll get dizzy. You're suddenly snapped out of your thoughts by Kento opening the door with a small smile on his face, an apron tied around his waist, and a bowl of chili in his hands.
"Here you are, my love."
He says softly as he sits down beside you on the bed. When you sit up and take the chili from him, he places his hand on your forehead, feeling how warm you still are. He sighs, a slight frown forming on his features. He grabs the thermometer before pointing to your forehead and pressing the button. He seems a bit worried when he sees that your temperature hasn't gone down at all. Hopefully, the chili will make you feel a bit better and clear your sinuses.
"Your temperature hasn't gone down yet, even after I gave you that medicine earlier. I might have to take you to the doctor if it doesn't go down here soon."
Kento says quietly as his hand trails down to your cheek, gently cupping it as you take small bites of the chili. It's certainly clearing your sinuses due to the spices in it, but you don't feel any better. You frown at his words, knowing you're at fault for getting sick. You should've bundled up more, but you didn't so now you're paying the price and he's being forced to take care of you. Kento notices your frown, which in turn makes him frown. He knows what you're thinking, and he doesn't want you to think like that.
"Hey, darling, don't worry. I like taking care of you, so please don't think those thoughts..."
