This morning was a busy and challenging morning for John and his team. The mission lasted about 6 hours, which wasn't much, but it felt like they had been on the battlefield for days. You couldn't even imagine what your man had to deal with. While you were sleeping peacefully in a cozy crib, bullets were flying over Price's head, grenades were exploding behind his back, a brutal battle for life, for victory was unfolding before your eyes.
Having destroyed the enemy camp, tired, wounded soldiers returned to the base. The captain looked at his watch and smiled - 12:30. You must be awake by now. He closed his eyes for a couple of seconds and pictured you sleepy on the bed, your attempts to open your eyes, stop yawning and reach for the phone. This image warmed his mind, motivated him to rush home every time to see his adorable miracle.
In turn, upon waking up, you called your husband, but his phone was off. After trying unsuccessfully a few more times, you sighed irritably and threw the phone on the bed.
As soon as Price reached his office, showered and changed into clean clothes, he reached into his desk drawer, which contained the turned-off phone. Looking through the missed calls, he smiled, predicting your cute displeasure.
"John, why didn't you answer? I'm worried, aren't I! And why was your phone off anyway?", - you immediately bombarded your husband with questions as soon as he dialed your number.
Remembering the morning's mission, the way he had to fire the machine gun even while jumping, he affectionately replied: "Sorry, bun, I was a little busy".
