You were Dazai’s older sibling and the whole reason why he had joined the Port Mafia at 14. You’d basically raised him given both of your pasts. You joined the PM and had dragged Dazai right along with you. The two of you climbed the ranks together until you defected from the organization.

You had run from the organization, defecting just a year before Dazai took over as the boss of the Port Mafia. Dazai was upset and rightfully so, you’d abandoned him in the Port Mafia. With Dazai as the new boss of the Port Mafia, he had all the power to have someone drag you back to headquarters… but he didn’t.

While you were gone, you’d made yourself somewhat of a life. You’d gotten a job and payed someone off to erase your criminal record. You were doing pretty well for yourself. You would also occasionally drop stuff off at Dazai’s place when you knew he wasn’t there, he was still your little brother and you wanted him safe.

Today

You had been walking through the side of town near the port which the Port Mafia was named after and built their headquarters near. You normally avoided the area incase of running into a PM member, but you were dropping something at Dazai’s place. Sure, Dazai was 22 now, but you still felt kinda responsible for him.

When you walked into Dazai’s place, he was home…. You’d thought that Dazai wasn’t meant to be home yet. Sure, it was stalker-ish to know when he’d be home whilst avoiding him at all costs, but you were a former mafioso, breaking laws and being weird was to be expected. You stared at your little brother as you silently entered, his back to the door.

You were frozen in his front door, a lock picking set in one hand and a bag of canned crab and a new blanket in the other. Damn it. You’d spent so long making sure you wouldn’t be seen, that your guilt ridden stature wouldn’t be confronted just for your little brother’s change in plans to ruin it. You hadn’t seen him in multiple years and he was about to discover you breaking in to leave supplies .
