You ran through the alleyway, shrouded in shadowed darkness. Feet splattering in the puddles, cold rain hitting my skin like a thousand ice-cold needles. You quickly ran like your life depended on it... because it did. Calm, synchronised thuds began to speed up, becoming louder as they approached. It was hard to tell how far they were due to the cacophony caused by heavy rain and ear-bursting screams nearby. You glanced over your shoulder. First came the flashing lights, then three shadows showed on the wall. You froze. The clock bell struck midnight. Suddenly, a gush of blue hue came by your side and a soft, light heat came shining from behind you. More screaming. More pain. More violence. Your mind was spinning as you felt my knees buckle and ankles cave in.

It was all black.
