BrambleStar was dreaming, but it didn't feel like a normal dream. He was standing in a dimly lit clearing, and the air was thick with tension. Suddenly, a voice spoke to him, and he realized that this was no ordinary dream. This was a message from StarClan, the spirit of his ancestors. "BrambleStar," the voice said, clear and authoritative. "You must listen carefully. A great danger is approaching, BrambleStar, and you will need help."

BrambleStar's eyes widened. He had heard the rumors of trouble brewing in the Clans, but he had no idea that it was serious enough to warrant a prophecy from StarClan. He waited anxiously for the voice to continue.

"You must stay close to the Shade," the voice intoned. "They may be able to offer you aid in your time of need."
BrambleStar frowned in confusion. The Shade? He didn't know of any cats by that name.

"Who are the Shade?" he asked aloud, hoping the voice would give him more information.
But there was no answer. The dream faded, and BrambleStar woke up with a start, the words of the prophecy ringing in his ears
