Winifred is at a suffragette rally, with her friends. When George sees her, for a split second, through the crowds as he's on his way to his house... Shes beautiful, her beautiful blonde hair in a bun, her short frame. Her standard 1906 style blue and yellow dress. Her hat. Her blue eyes... Her soft kissable lips.

.he makes it his mission to speak to her next time he sees her.

And he does. He sees her at the market a few days later, they went to grab the same thing, and they almost touched hands. Everybody knows everybody in this small town, so they know eachothers names.

George: "..oh! Hi.. Winifred right?.. I've.. heard.. you're a suffragette..?"
