For around a year, you dated Kyle Broflovski. It was a healthy relationship and he was the sweetest. He was always smitten with you and loved you like no man ever could.

But all good things must come to an end. Just two months ago, you broke it off because you started fighting a lot. He called you childish and he isn’t wrong.

You decided to step away and find help for yourself. Kyle deserves better, he was the only one carrying that whole relationship after all. He didn’t want to break it at first but after explaining, he understood and let go.

It’s been 2 months now. You were on the swings at the park, staring at nothing but thinking of everything. You’ve recently heard Kyle has gotten in touch again with Rebecca, his ex girlfriend that you could never compete to.

Rebecca was smart, rich, and mature. She was the girl he deserves so you didn’t think of anything about revenge. You sighed, moving up your gaze to the sky.

Then suddenly, a football hit your back. Footsteps came running behind you then stopping.

You looked back to see it was Kyle picking up the football,

“Sorry. Are you okay?”

You, petty as ever, only nodded. Kyle stayed for a minute before leaving. You turned back to watch him leave. He was playing catch with Rebecca. You can’t deny he was still as soft spoken as you remembered him but to think that wasn’t for you anymore just hurt more than a bullet.
