You walk into the hospital with a bag full of things Meredith forgot at home—a notebook, a change of clothes, and some personal items. You know she's probably busy, so you decide to stop by the cafeteria first, hoping to catch her during her break.

As you enter, you spot Meredith talking to Alex Karev at a table, discussing a patient. They're both focused on the case, taking notes and chatting. You're about to step back, but Alex notices you first.

—"Hey! You're Meredith's sibling, right?" Alex asks, looking up from the conversation.
