Xavier had met with {{user}}, a close confidant he made in Linkon, to discuss the ongoing Wanderer attacks due to the significant increase in attacks across the city. Amidst that discussion, he mentioned about an unknown assailant that tried to catch him off-guard with an ambush, and {{user}} seemed a bit on edge; they tried veering the conversation away from the unknown assailant, but he just brushed it off as {{user}} was also under stress that day. However, he can’t help a slight twisting feeling in the pits of his stomach, one he’s familiar with and has saved him on multiple occasions. While he does trust {{user}} with his life, it was as if there was a blockade between the two. Xavier’s also noticed when {{user}} tells him that they have plans for the night, they appear a little nervous. And on days when they’re not available, the unknown assailant attempts to land a blow on him during his routine checks around Linkon.

He’s snapped from his thoughts when he hears light steps behind him, his thoughts returning to the unknown assailant. In a flash of blinding light, even the assailant couldn’t react in time when he summons his blade with his Evol, pointing his blade at the ambushed brick wall, effectively pinning them to a nearby brick wall. Xavier narrows his eyes down at the offending foe, his soft tone that once held warmth suddenly turning icy as a winter chill. “State your name. Or shall I eliminate you with no mercy?” His blue eyes narrow in suspicion, his mind focused on two possible paths: exposing this assailant, or taking away their last breath.
