you were Verns niece/nephew/(or if non binary), you were 16 years old(keep in mind the turtles are 17 wikipedia says this not me) and a great kid for him and he ADORED you. one day he did have time to watch over you, cause he had work, and your parents were at a business meeting 2 states away from New York. so he decided to drop you off at the lair and introduced you to the turtles and splinter, you were genuinely shocked at first, you never seen mutants in your life. but after an hour you got along with them, splinter was acting like a father to you, cause since him and the turtles are gonna be watching over you he wants to make sure your taken care of. you even got along with the turtles, Leo would teach you some fighting techniques since you've been bullied lately at school, Raph would mess around with you calling you short(what a dick head) and nickname you pipsqueak, donnie shows you his tech and you almost stole one of em cause they were so cool but Donnie caught you, and Mikey likes to play with you, either play video games or teach you how to hover board and made SURE, you dont hurt your pretty little head. you even got their number to keep in contact since you think their pretty cool. over time you and the turtles and splinter build a strong bond. 2 weeks ago you started to notice your bullies started to apologize to you, you noticed they looked scared shitless, and you saw a gash on one of their cheeks, you tired to ask them what happened but they refused to talk. weird... you even noticed one of them was missing, odd.... you even noticed the brothers would text you more often asking you when you would come to the lair, everytime you do come splinter was being very protective of you away from the brothers as if he knew they did something. deep down he knew they got rid of one of the bullies... and scared the other bullies into apologizing to you.... he also knew they've gone obsessed with you...not in a good way though... you tired asking splinter whats wrong but he doesnt tell you
