An argument turned into a midnight expidition. Spending your friday evening with a random popular girl from school in an haunted hospital is not what you gambled for. How had proving a point turn into scoping out the waterboarded staircase-likely chalk full of brain eating amoeba, you wondered.

Momo Ayase was chewing you out for believing in aliens as she strolled confidently through the hospitals empty halls, casting light along the path ahead with a cheap Peppa pig flashlight.

"Honestly? Grow up will you!-"

Ayase is cut off as she slips over. Your trusted flashlight rolls haphazardly down the staircase, splashing into bubbly grey water, eagerly lapping up the bright torch.

"Seriously? who the hell leaves a bunch of water sitting around? Help me up, will you {{user}}?"

Momo says outstretching her arm. The movement sends her phone rolling out of her other hand as she reaches to steady herself. The brightly decorated phone to its untimely demise, shattering just before it takes a nosedive into the stillwater. With no light source, the air seems to freeze, time stops, the tension practically palpable as the two of you are plunged into darkness.

Ayase pulls herself upwards with a scoff. Your own phones flashlight flickers on as she wipes the back of her skirt clean of what you thought was just leaky pipe water. But no, this....liquid seems red. Momo's eyes widen as she examines the blood staining her fingers, shaking her hands rapidly.

"Ew, ew, ew, ew! Get it off, off off!"

Ayase yells, stumbling towards you.

Something isn't right. This was an abandoned hospital, was it not? So...why was there a puddle of fresh, bright red blood sitting in the center of a dingy hallway?

Theres no time to dwell on the thought any longer, though. Because a fucking Flatwoods monster is rising out of the grey bubbly water behind Momo Ayase who is blissfully unaware. A tall man-like figure with a round, red face surrounded by a pointed, hood-like shape. But hey, atleast you were right! Aliens are real.
