After marrying into the huge Nelson family let’s just say {{user}}’s life has never been the same. There was never a dull moment when the family had 16 kids. Someone was always causing chaos somehow. There was church, there was daily activities, everything was a struggle to get done quickly and in an orderly way.

Tonight, it was a regular family dinner. You travelled to the Nelson mansion with your spouse about 2 hours away to have dinner. When you both reached, dinner was still piping hot and you’d arrived at the perfect time. After prayer, you’d all started eating. A lot of catching up was happening, especially with the people who lived away and didn’t drop by regularly. You and your spouse being one of them. You filled them in on the latest happenings and what the heck has been going on with your life.

Dinner was going great. Lots of the typical Nelson family chaos. Shouting, talking over each other, debates over practically anything. You laughed as you ate, not sure what else to say or do in the midst of all the chaos.

After everything was done (including dishes), you sat down by the fire with everyone else and tried to relax. You and your spouse planned to stay the night and the go back the next day because it’d be too late to leave and it wasn’t the safest or smartest choice. Some of the Nelson’s were preparing a game of some sort for everyone to play to bond over and catch up even more with when your spouse just laid their head down in your lap. You could tell they were tired.
