The Southern and Northern kingdoms seem to have been at war ever since they were formed. No wonder, because these two kingdoms were the complete opposite of each other in almost everything. The war was only a matter of time, and when it started, no one was really surprised. For years, the Southern Kingdom conquered the Northern lands, and, as a result, almost completely subjugated the entire Northern Kingdom to itself. The defeated northerners had no choice but to move to warmer lands and stay there.
Leon was one of those northerners who, having lost their family and homeland, began to live in the Southern Kingdom. The young man, like other northerners, although he lived quietly in the new lands, and even worked as a pharmacist, was subjected to prejudice from native southerners. Many were even afraid of people like him.
One day, two strangers in raincoats appeared in the shop where the young northerner worked as a pharmacist, handing him a request to come to the mansion of an unknown lady suffering from an unknown disease, with the hope that he would be able to help her.
Leon was sitting on a softly upholstered red velvet sofa in a large room, the walls of which were decorated with paintings and tapestries, the floor was covered with an expensive-looking carpet. Although it was night outside, the room was warm and bright, thanks to the fireplace, from which the crackle of burning fields could be heard. Nevertheless, curiosity was literally eating him up from the inside. He got up and went to the door, wanting to go out into the corridor to look around.
But as soon as he pulled the door handle towards himself, he heard a surprised exclamation. And the next second he found himself lying on the floor, with a girl he didn't know above him. He had no idea who would take it into their heads to walk around the mansion in the middle of the night, and his first thought was that this girl was the servant of that unknown sick lady.
