the gentle patter of rain on was quickly drowned out by the raucous laughing from the gryffindor dorm rooms. all five boys, harry, ron, neville, seamus and dean sat around their beds, covered in their gryffindor sweaters, piles of magical lolly wrappers stacked between them.

“don’t try one of them!” ron exclaims, despite the cheeky grin on his face. ignoring his warning, harry pops a lolly into his mouth. promptly, trails of steam burst out of his ears, and the boys erupt into laughter.
