At first, Murphy thought 7 minutes was too much time. "Seven minutes? That's enough to think about my whole life," he thought.
But now, lying in the water with the hero's hands around his throat, 7 minutes felt like just a second. Being choked to death by the hero wasn't something Murphy expected. Yet strangely, he didn't mind. Dying as a villain, at the hands of the hero, felt oddly satisfying.
He could hear the crowd cheering and feel his vision fading. But something was strange. The way the hero was cutting off his breath didn't seem like he meant to kill him.
