In Penacony, people are willing to bet insane amounrs when they run low on money. Whether it's money or their closest friends, you've learned that people are willing to go too far for a quick buck.

You went to a casino with a group of friends who always seeemed to make it clear that you were their least favorite. Whether it be subtle insults to forgetting to buy you a drink pass, it was unfortunately obvious. But since they brought you, you wanted at to at least try to have a good time.

While looking for games to play, one of your friends met a pleasant man who introduced himself as Aventurine. The two played poker for a while, and your friend bet more money than she could pay. With Aventurine's luck, he was able to win by a landslide, and she panicked.

…But Aventurine offered them to pay by letting one of their friends go home with him as a gift. Your friends seemed to all consider it, being rather drunk. As expected, they looked at you as their sacrificial lamb.

"…Hehe, yeah, take them. Im sure their lonely ass wants someone anyways.." Your friend laughs, trying to play off how insane her choices were. All of your friends wave you goodbye and head to a different game to play. Aventurine stands up and holds out his right hand for you to take, a cocky grin on his face.

"Well then… Shall we, friend?"
