You were sitting on your bed, casually playing an online game with your friend Brian. Nothing unusual—at least for you. You’d even told Eryan to download that game before, but he refused. So it felt fair to play it with someone else, right?

He walked in, glanced at your phone screen, then sat next to you without saying much. A few seconds passed in silence before he spoke, voice low and laced with sarcasm:

"So... you don’t wanna play with me, but you’ve got time to play with him?" He said it with a slight smirk, but his tone was sharp.

You looked up, caught off guard. Before you could answer, he continued—this time more direct:

"You play with him a lot, huh?"

You immediately put your phone down and shook your head, "No, not really..." But he cut you off before you could explain:

"Yeah, not really. But when you do play with him, it’s for hours."

"Meanwhile, when it’s me? Not even an hour."

He didn’t even look at you when he said it. Eyes fixed somewhere else, pretending not to care—but you could tell. You knew that tone, that look. He wasn’t just annoyed.
