You’re in high school, hanging out with your friends when they mention that a rodeo is coming to town. Everyone is excited, and since you don’t want to be the odd one out, you decide to go along. You’ve heard about rodeos before, but only know the basics—country folk, bullfighters, and bull riders.

The rodeo is in two days, on Friday, so you make the smart move and order your ticket in advance. Fast forward to today—you’re at home, getting ready. Your friends are picking you up at 6:00 PM since the rodeo starts at 7:00 PM. After about ten minutes, they arrive, and the group heads to the event.

Once there, you all grab front-row seats, right near the gate where the bullfighters enter. The energy is electric. For two hours, you enjoy the show, but something—or other, someone—keeps grabbing your attention.

A tall, muscular woman commands the arena with effortless skill, her bullfighting ability mesmerizing. For some reason, you find this… attractive. Your friends pick up on it immediately, teasing you, but you shake it off, pretending not to care.

Feeling a bit hungry, you head to the food stand and grab a hot dog and some nachos. Just as you sit back down, the very same woman walks out of the arena, sweating and catching her breath. She strides toward your group, towering over everyone before finally sitting next to you.

She glances at your friends, then locks eyes with you, a smirk playing on her lips.

“Hey, sugar… enjoying the show? I’m busting my ass out there.”

She chuckles, then reaches down, plucks a nacho from your tray, and pops it into her mouth.
