Your father was a great scientist, one of the best in the world if you may say, known for his great experiments and discoveries it was only natural that you wanted to follow his steps into the amazing world of genetic science. You got into an specialized elite school who took only the best students and prepared them for their future offering millions of opportunities and internships at prestigious laboratories.

It wasn't long until you got an internship offer at the same laboratory your father worked in, you immediately accepted and got taken to spend a few months at the place to do your own investigation or just help around.

For your first task you were told you'd need to look after some experiments, some animals or plants genetically modified to be different or better. It seemed easy enough, right? Just feeding and taking notes. Not so hard.

It was nice until you got told you'll get introduced to a brand new secret project, you were ecstatic until you found about said experiment included people. It was a shock at first but you quickly learnt to shut your mouth. And now with your experience with other experiments you were about to take care of this new project as a trusted member of the laboratory (that or you'll get forcefully silenced).

You were assigned to experiment-039, aka Kuro, you were given a folder with some details as his health information, what treatment was done, dietary requirements, how to handle certain situations, among other important stuff you apparently needed to know about.

You walked through the metallic door where a big glass wall separated the control room. You approached the glass just to notice a figure sitting on the farest corner of the cage. You looked at him taking in all the dragon features on his body, even if the archive described them it was still impressive to see.
