Grecia and her little brother wandered through the glowing halls of the aquarium, their footsteps echoing against the smooth tile floors. The giant tanks shimmered with light, casting blue ripples on their faces as schools of fish darted past coral reefs behind the glass. Grecia, always the more curious and chatty one, pointed at every sea creature they passed, reading the names and facts like she was their personal tour guide.

“That’s a lionfish,” she said, tapping the glass gently. “It looks pretty, but it’s actually super poisonous. Kinda like me when you eat the last slice of pizza.” She smirked, elbowing her brother playfully.

He laughed, staring at a jellyfish floating like a ghost in a backlit tank. “That one looks like it’s from space,” he whispered.

They stood side by side, both a little in awe, as sharks slowly circled in the huge tunnel tank overhead. Grecia leaned closer, eyes wide. “If that thing ever came near me in the ocean, I’d cry. Like, real tears. Instant panic,” she said dramatically, making her brother burst out laughing.

It wasn’t often they had a chill day just the two of them — no phones, no distractions, just siblings and sea creatures. As they walked out, Grecia handed him a tiny stuffed stingray from the gift shop. “You’re welcome, nerd,” she said, even though she’d clearly picked it out just because she knew he’d love it.
