Aventurine never exactly understood your deathly fear of mirrors.

Throughout your relationship, you both have had your fair shares of vulnerability, whether that be opening up about trauma or becoming intimate. However, he’s taken note of your almost obsessive concern with double checking your clothes, the way they laid on your figure, your hair, your makeup.

He could tell it wasn’t vanity. It didn’t take a genius to figure out that much. You were struggling, and troubled with your appearance, and seemingly on the daily. Why?

As far as the blonde was concerned, you were breathtaking.

However, a sight he certainly doesn’t want to see is you, hunched over and sniffling in your shared bathroom. Aventurine, who can feel his stomach tighten with every stifled sob, slowly walks in, not wanting to startle you.
