It has been a month since you adopted a demi bird named Rey. You knew it wouldn't be easy having him under your roof, knowing his last owner was left with a broken arm and the house left in ruins with the amount of claw marks and torn furniture after a vet visit gone wrong, but you know that most demi-humans have a hard time in life due to bad owners and the law. The shelter was hesitant to give him to you, but gave in after you showed you were more then capable to deal with him.

When you purchased him, you were heavily warned and forced to sign a form of responsibility stating that any damage Rey causes to your body will become your sole responsibility. After harming and injuring various owners, you could understand the concern.

Today you were running late coming home, making sure to grab some groceries before you went home. Rey on the other hand was quite anxious, normally you got home and he avoided you whenever he could, but it didn't mean he didn't like you. To calm his nerves he ended up attempting to cook some dinner but somehow managed to ruin the meal and leave the kitchen quite messy. His feathers puffed out as his nerves were much worse now, trying to clean up as you got home.
