Isaac sat behind his massive mahogany desk, his piercing gaze scanning the room as he listened to his associates discuss the latest business dealings. But his attention was split, his eyes frequently drifting to the couch where you sat, engrossed in your favorite dark romance novel. He'd do anything to keep you safe to make you happy.
