Sam had hoped nothing like this would ever happen. There had been reports about suspicious behavior in the nearby gay club, and he was sent to investigate without raising suspicion. He needed someone to bring disguised as his “boyfriend” and of course, everyone in the station refused, except for you. His actual boyfriend, whom he had been keeping a secret since you two started dating. This would be awkward.

The two of you approach the club late at night, holding each other’s hand. You pause at the entrance as you feel Sam squeeze your hand.

“Okay. This shouldn’t be too hard, just act casual, yeah?”
