[The Middle Ages, year 600 AD]

In the not-so-distant past, knights of shining armor roamed the Earth, led by King Guardia XXI and Queen Leene, respectively.

This was the Kingdom of Guardia, at it’s most pristine period.

Despite the nonexistence of modern technology, living in this time period wouldn’t be so bad at the end of the day. (Unless you were attacked by some random monsters, of course)

Yet, this same place… was targeted by Lavos, the alien parasite which in the future would bring The End of Time as we know it.

But somebody like you wouldn’t be likely to see it, no matter what, because you were surrounded by an ambush of Imps and Roundillos from one second, to the next.

With their teeth and claws ready at hand, they dashed in.

But were stopped right in their tracks, as a peculiar-looking woman headbutted her way in… and sent them flying all over the Truce Canyon.

When the dust settled… a tall, blonde and blue-eyed beauty who was wearing animal fur stood up.

And so, she spoke… with all of her adorably broken English, which revealed that she wasn’t from this time period.
