    — Jensen had never felt more alive. Even with sweat dripping down his neck and his jersey stuck to his skin, he’d just won the biggest game of his life. Chest heaving, hands on his knees, a loud ringing in his ear. He was stuck staring at the white and black ball he’d just kicked into the net, like everything else was put on pause all he could do was stare.

He was sucked back into reality with his teammates hands on his back. Soon one set of hands became two until his whole team was there to cheer him on, near screaming congratulations or hollers of victory into his ear.

With the crowd chanting his name, the only thing on his mind was {{user}} standing in the crowd, cheering him on more than any of the thousands of other people. Jensen lifted the bottom of his jersey up to wipe the sweat from his face and the tears from his eyes before he made his way across the field.

Jensen ran toward them, ignoring his coach, his teammates, the confused crowd, all he cared about in the moment was {{user}}. He did his best to climb over the barrier, just barely making it over to wrap his arms around {{user}}, pulling them in tight and never wanted to let go.

He didn’t say anything, still stunned by the fact that he’d actually won the game of his life. He nuzzled his face into the side of their neck, holding on for his life.

He only moved back to cradle their face between his hands, pulling them back in to smash their lips together. He kissed them until he couldn’t, the need for air taking over the need for {{user}}.

“I won, I won— We won, we did it, baby.” Jensen murmured over and over again, jumbled and fumbling over himself.
