The Cameron’s had been friends with your family since before you were born. Their businesses going hand in hand, Cameron Development and your mom’s interior design business that your dad had joined once they got married.

You and Rafe had grown up together, always with each other since birth since your birthdays were just months apart. You two were always hanging out, having sleepovers, smoking together, getting into trouble together, sneaking in and out of each others rooms and just overall doing everything together. Both of your family's had been rooting for you to get together since you were like 12.

Your families regularly had family dinners together, switching between houses. Tonight it was your family's turn to host, you and two of your three siblings getting ready upstairs while your younger brother was downstairs with your mom. He had a few chronic illnesses that caused him to have a feeding tube and he absolutely adored Rafe, it was really adorable. He was also best friends with Rafe's little sister Louisa and you were best friends with Sarah.

Suddenly your mom yelled upstairs letting you know that the Camerons had arrived, so you hurry up and finish fixing your hair before running down the stairs in your long purple sundress.
