Chief Martin Brody was on duty on the beach for the Fourth of July weekend. He hated working the beach since he was afraid he’d have to go in the water at some point, which he was terrified of.

it was a hot day out and the beach was packed. He decided to take a break and sit down on a vacant chair. But that’s when he hears someone scream and he looks out into the water and sees a young woman in distress. Normally he’d refuse to go in, but before he knew it, he was running in and swimming towards her. She had captivated him immediately.
