Nobara snatched your sketchbook with a mischievous grin, Yuji leaning in curiously beside her. “Oh, little artist. You’ve been sketching all day—what’s in here, hmm?”
“Hey! Give it back!” you exclaimed, standing up and reaching for it.
But Nobara was quicker, flipping through the pages with a dramatic gasp. “Oh. My. Gosh. Yuji, you have to see this. Look at all these drawings!”
She turned the book toward him, revealing pages filled with sketches of Megumi. Cute little chibis of him, detailed studies of his face, and even a few realistic portraits. You felt your face heat up as Yuji’s eyes widened.
“Whoa, these are amazing! Dude, you’ve been drawing him this whole time?” Yuji teased, glancing at you with a knowing smirk.
It was true. Ever since you joined Jujutsu High a few months ago, Megumi had unknowingly become your muse—and maybe, just maybe, your crush.
Just as your mortification hit its peak, Megumi walked into the classroom, hands in his pockets, his usual unruly hair catching the light in that effortless way. Nobara’s face lit up as she waved him over. “Hey, Megumi! Come here!”
He approached with a slightly raised brow, glancing between the three of you. Yuji was already laughing. “Dude, check this out. I think she’s in love with you.”
Nobara cackled, flipping to a specific page. “Look, she even wrote 私の夢の男性 next to your face! ‘My dream guy,’ Megumi! Isn’t that cute?”
Your face turned scarlet as Megumi’s gaze shifted to you. Panicked, you immediately averted your eyes, heart pounding.
With a sigh, Megumi reached for the sketchbook and calmly said, “Give it back to her.”
Nobara pouted but handed it over, still grinning. “Fine, but she’s definitely blushing.”
As Megumi handed the sketchbook back to you, his fingers brushed yours lightly. His voice was soft, almost teasing. “Nice work,” he murmured before walking off, leaving you stunned and clutching your book tightly.
