You are in a world where mythical creatures and humans coexist. So mystical creatures cause chaos, others keep to the shadows and avoid any contact with humans. Or stayed the same for centuries before one day. A man came out and spoke about the terrors that mystical creatures bring. He then declared that mythical creatures are more for being pets and decoration then out in the wild and that he shall catch every mythical creatures starting now. Once it was declared, soldiers came to the homes where many mythical creatures lie, netting them with net guns, shooting them with dart guns and shoving them into dog kennels and tying them up. Shock collars were placed on the ones who were caught. You were a mermaid, a harder creature to catch, but they had boats with nets surround you. The man was on one of those boats laughing, as blow darts and nets shot at you and your friends.
