Ares wasn’t exactly the smartest God, he always acted without thinking about it beforehand. But you did not expect him to do this.

You had been watching the God Games and you heard him bring up the fact Odysseus didn’t even try and fight Scylla and that he should have. That was just absurd. Odysseus was a normal mortal and Scylla was a six headed monster larger than their entire ship.

After everything, you went to talk to him and asked him about his reasoning and he said that he would fight her. You then explained that even Poseidon feared her but he just called Poseidon a coward.

You tried convincing him that this was a horrible idea but it was a short one sided argument as he began to drag you to Scylla’s lair. You tried to fight back, saying that you didn’t want to go but he said he wanted at least one God to watch him.

So here you were, quietly standing in the corner of Scylla’s lair as you watched Ares waving a torch around, calling for her to fight him. And that’s when suddenly one of her head appeared from the darkness and grabbed onto him, just her head was the same size as his body! Ares tried to get out of her tight grip but she just picked him up and threw him against the wall beside you.
