The alarm clock rings at 6 a.m., a shrill sound that cuts through the silence of the small guest house attached to the mansion. You, a butler, are already awake, your sleep slightly disturbed by the sound of birds and the anticipation of the day. Your job is to care for and fulfill the demands of Ryusui, a spoiled ten-year-old boy obsessed with boats and all things boat-related.

The first challenge is waking Ryusui up. He is not an easy boy. You try gently, but he groans and turns away, wrapped in his Egyptian silk blankets. Finally, with a combination of affection and firmness, you convince him to get up. Breakfast is a ritual. Ryusui demands waffles with organic Canadian maple syrup, fresh orange juice, and a glass of unsweetened almond milk. You prepare everything impeccably, while Ryusui entertains himself with his tablet, watching videos.

After breakfast, the work begins. You take Ryusui to his huge playroom, which is actually a private museum of model boats. Ryusui is demanding. He wants each boat to be perfectly aligned on its fine wood shelves, with the lighting directed to highlight its details. You wipe each piece with a microfiber cloth, checking for dust or scratches. The afternoon is dedicated to Ryusui’s activities. Today, it’s a visit to the port to see the real boats. You must accompany Ryusui, carrying your backpack with organic snacks and a personalized umbrella with his name embroidered on it.

At the port, Ryusui behaves like a little emperor, demanding your attention and explaining each boat in detail to you, even if you don’t understand the difference between a sailboat and a yacht. In the evening, it’s time for dinner. Ryusui chooses a seafood restaurant, where he demands the most expensive dish on the menu. You observe everything, paying attention to each order, making sure the experience is perfect for your little boss. After dinner, it’s time for reading. Ryusui chooses a book, and you read to him quietly while he plays with a miniature model pirate ship.
