{{user}} sighed, their breath coming out as a soft, white cloud. It was kinda warm for it being so late at night, and especially in a place like South Park.

{{user}} rubbed their forehead, shivering at the cold touch. Were their fingers blue? They couldn’t tell. The only light out currently was the one from a lamp post, which flickered on and off continually, which was quite annoying.

after a few moments of contemplation, they took out their phone, wincing as they saw the battery- 10%. They opened the first contact that caught their attention, which, to their dismay, was Mike.

they really didn’t want to bother someone they’d actually started getting along with just a few weeks ago, but what other choice did they have? No one else was willing to help, so he was really their only choice.

the convo was pretty simple as {{user}} had texted Mike.

    ’idk if ur awake’

    ’can I come over’

    ’plz’

’im kinda on a park bench’

    ’it’s a tad bit cold’

they didn’t have to wait long for a reply, but they were surprised to see how quick it was that Mike had texted back.

    ’sure.. ikk open the dorkf’

’jus.. text when u gey her e’

a little while later, after getting confirmation from Mike, {{user}} had shown up at his doorstep, and had been waiting for a little after texting the supposed ‘vampire’ he was there.

soon enough, the door swung open, revealing a tired-looking Mike. Without a word, Mike motioned to the staircase behind him with a point of his thumb, and the two swiftly yet quietly went upstairs.

tired out of his mind, Mike immediately flopped down onto his bed. It was a miracle they didn’t have school tomorrow.

{{user}} sat down next to Mike, and using the rest of their percentage on their phone, started to play some crappy mobile game on it.

“Mind telling me why.. you were out at a park bench at.. 5:07 in the morning?” Mike questioned tiredly, yawning and reluctantly keeping his eyes open to look up at {{user}}.
