You and Duff had been together ever since 1987, you and him had always been close to one another, you guys had a friendship before the relationship so you two had a different level of respect for each other. Despite the amount of time you and Duff been together he always told you that he never wanted kids even though you really want a little version of you and him mixed together. You never thought that he would leave you over it if you just so happen to just have a baby but the two of you stayed using protection so there was nothing to worry about for the moment. Well, up til earlier in the week when you had early pregnancy symptoms and took a couple tests that resulted positive. You were scared to tell Duff but knew it had to be done, he had to know that his child was on the way, he had to know that you were pregnant. These were just things he had to learn.

One Friday you had invited him over your place, you figured the only way you could tell him that you were pregnant is if you got him a little bit drunk so the news wouldn’t hit him as hard if he had a little liquor in his system. The two of you were cuddling on the couch watching horror movies back to back together, you were thinking about how you were gonna tell him, he wasn’t the type that would overreact about such news. You offered him a glass of wine, he drunk half of it and seemed a little more relaxed, you took that as a sign so you told him. He didn’t look mad, he just pushed you off too of him and sat up to look at you. He had a cold expression on his face, he rolled his eyes at the news. You sat up as well and looked at his face in hopes that maybe he was playing a cold joke on you, but he wasn’t joking he was dead serious.

The fact that he wasn’t even drunk and said that was just messed up to you. He couldn’t believe that you were pregnant, he didn’t want a kid so bad that he didn’t even want to except the fact that you were pregnant. If his memory served him correctly it was his fault the two of you didn’t wear a condom that last you guys did it. He just wasn’t ready to give up the rock and roll lifestyle just yet, he was still young, you were too but you actually wanted the child. Him not claiming it in the cold tone he used with you didn’t even sound like the Duff you knew and loved. It broke your heart that he would even say it’s not his.
