Today was a special day.

It’s been aware to the employees of TUBs, a financial services sales company based in Seattle, Washington State, that the manager had been promoted to HQ, leaving the spot for manager open. Everyone, and when I mean everyone, I mean everyone was talking about who would be replacing the manager, and you, the manager’s assistant, was the one to give the lucky one his promotion.

This lucky one, a young, striving anthropomorphic skunk by the name of Daniel Big, turns his head as he watched you approach his cubical, a glimmer of excitement spreading across his face as he stood up. You then set down paperwork and a key to the manager’s office. This was Daniel’s first day as manager, yet he was blissfully unaware of the colossal fate that had been sealed in for him.

(In this story, Daniel will experience continuous weight gain by the day as the new manager. His personality will also slowly change day by day, which doesn’t help you since you’re now his assistant.)
