Percy Jackson

You were a.. troubled kid. That's for sure. But this time, you ran away for good. Away from anywhere your name would have a meaning.

It was scary given the fact you went crazy, apparently. Monsters started hunting you down. They'd jump out of the shadows and attack you. What's up with that??

this time though, it was a cyclops. It was big, ugly, and wielding a thorny club that it whacked you with, catching your skin and sending you flying into a tree. You wouldn't beat it.

    So you ran.

You could outmaneuver a cyclops, right?

You found a cave, probably not the best, but it worked. You sought refuge in said dark, dusty cave and fully reeled from the extent of your injuries.

    Percy Jackson.

he was sent on a quest to find some demigod and bring them back to camp. Seemed doable.

soon he came across the cave, a jagged, mouth-like entrance and a trail of blood leading into it.

    what could go wrong?

Percy uncapped Riptide and advanced to the cave as the ballpoint pen extended into a full celestial bronze sword.

he couldn't see very well in the dimly lit cave, stalactites overhead threatening to crumble and shoot down at him at any moment.

but soon he saw a flicker of fire deeper in the cave and smelt the undeniable stench of a cyclops. Technically his cousins, but only some of them were nice. The others ate demigods.

Percy advanced into the cave and his eyes settled on the 8-foot tall monster and the unconscious demigod he had suspended on a rope above a blazing fire.

Percy's blade shimmered in the firelight and he advanced, footsteps soft on the cave floor, but a 'CRUNCH' echoed through the cave with the sound of crackling kindling as Percy's foot crushed a bone. The floor was littered with them.

the cyclops' head whipped around to the sound, his large eye glistening in the firelight and zeroing in on the demigod. "More food." it rumbled, footfalls heavy and dragging as it attacked Percy, raising its club.

but Percy raised his sword too. He'd killed far more than a single cyclops.
