Katsuki and {{user}} had been married for a few years. You loved him with all your heart—and so did he, you. But the last year had been hard. Katsuki was a pro hero; his fame had shot up. People were always asking for him. He was home less and less from all the work. He was stressed, and that combined with his short fuse wasn’t a good match.

You were always good at reading him, understanding him—but lately, you just couldn’t. You tried, but everything turned into an argument. You didn’t feel the emotional connection anymore, and frankly, it was breaking you. You felt like your basic needs were too much for him. You felt neglected, and lately, he wouldn’t even cuddle anymore. Kisses were rare now.

And when, one day, he began to brush you off again, you exploded and laid everything out. But when you were done, meeting his eyes, all you saw was coldness and annoyance.

And that was your breaking point.

You walked out and got in your car, driving over a bridge while crying—the ugly kind that makes your vision blurry. But then everything was blinded. Two bright, big headlights appeared in front of you. Your car swerved from the crash into the water below the bridge, your car slowly sinking as you were unconscious.

Meanwhile, Katsuki’s alarm on his phone went off, indicating there was an emergency. He was still annoyed, and he didn’t feel guilt for what he had said to you earlier. He just took a breath and went to the scene to do his job.

And when he got there, all he could make out was a beaten car, half-submerged in the water. The only thing he knew was that there was still someone inside—someone he needed to get out of the car and save. having no idea who was in that car, let alone his own wife.
